FEES & LOGISTICS
HOW I WORK:
I schedule an initial hour consultation (usually phone call) for us to
discuss the astrological side of each personality & compatibility and how
I will incorporate it into the major part of the wedding. Feel free to
ask questions and I hope you'll decide I'm the right person to accompany
you through this major step of a wedding or commitment ceremony. Next
step I will send you a letter of agreement which shows the timeline and
fee structure. After you return the signed letter with the appropriate
deposit, we schedule another phone consultation of an hour, so we can work
together creating your vision for your ceremony. Together we'll create an
outline for the ceremony and discuss your actual vows you choose to say,
whether written by yourself or the normal wedding vows. I will email you
my notes from all our phone consultations. Usually we do a rehearsal the
day before the wedding so we can all be happy with the final result.
All ceremonies are done in-person. I
officiate at weddings anywhere in the U.S. and in a variety of different
settings. After the ceremony, I complete the official marriage license
documentation and file it with the county clerk, keeping a record for my
files and sending you a copy for your files. Official copies of the
license can be purchased from your county clerk.
Standard Wedding
Package - $500
The most commonly requested service is
the Standard Wedding Package. It includes the creation of the ceremony,
finalizing the order of the service with cues for directions, a walk
through of the ceremony 1 hour before the ceremony and taking care of
follow-up paperwork. It generally includes at least 3
meetings/consultations.
Wedding & Rehearsal
Package - - $750
Sometimes there are strong reasons why
the minister's presence would be required a day before the ceremony for
the traditional wedding rehearsal and dinner. If the wedding is extremely
choreographed with many individuals it may be advisable to have a thorough
and calm rehearsal the day before to raise everyone's comfort level. The
Wedding & Rehearsal Package includes everything in the Standard package
with the addition of the minister's attendance at the rehearsal.
Ceremony Creation
Only - $250
Some couples may just want help in
creating the ceremony of their dreams, but do not need an officiate. Maybe
a family member or friend will be officiating at the ceremony or you may
want to do a ceremony on location on an island, but want to control what
actually is being done at the service. This package gives you the initial
hour consultation plus another hour for outlining the ceremony.
Deposit
A deposit in the amount of one-half of
the total fee will secure my services for your date. I will hold dates on
a tentative basis until you've had a chance to make the initial
meeting/consultation.
Transportation/Accommodation Fees
If the ceremony is outside of the upper
Midwest, we can discuss airfare as a possibly cheaper alternative to
driving. I may need overnight accommodations as well.
OTHER CEREMONIES
For all other ceremonies -
Christenings, Memorials, House Blessings/Cleansings, etc - the ministerial
fee is $300 plus transportation. It includes an hour-and-a-half
consultation and the creation of the personalized ceremony as well as
presiding over the event.
