I’d like to start out by welcoming you all to The Heavens Are Telling. What do you think astrology is all about? Well, in all my years of being an astrologer I’ve heard it all. I actually hear one very narrow minded individual say it’s witchcraft. More often than not the
consensus of middle of the road people believe astrology tells the future. Of those who believe that, there are a handful who don’t want to know their future if the astrologer sees something bad coming up. In fact those who believe astrology only tells about negative future events never see an astrologer because they are so afraid of negative future trends. Finally, what astrology truly is! Astrology is a tool, such as counseling, to see what easy and difficult times are coming up and how with what personality traits one has helps the individual decide on how to proceed in a calm and rational manner.
Astrologers are akin to counselors, but with more insight and ability to see what is in the future. Astrologers take more risks than counselors since we are equipped with more information: a person’s natal chart! We do not tell people what to do, only that if they decide to act a certain way during a certain time frame most definitely a certain result will occur. Simple, isn’t it? Or is it?
For the 7 years I’ve been an astrologer most of that time was spent trying to teach people what astrology truly is all about. Only within the last year or so, people have become more educated about astrology. But, there are still those who are educated in the stars that don’t use it properly. They fear certain transits will be disaster, because they see it only 1 way, negative. They don’t see how they can change the situation, so they find the safest spot in their closet until the transit passes. If several (4) challenging transits happen on 1 day, then and only then, is the time to be extremely cautious or even stay home. I thought I could avoid a day like that by staying home the day before the “bad” day. WRONG! A short moon transit of the Moon squaring Pluto started triggering off the bad aspects I had that day. Oy vey!!!! Certainly a day I’ll never forget, but it also taught me a lesson. No matter how much you know or you think you know about astrology the Cosmos in its infinite wisdom knows more and likes to teach you just that. Astrology is a tool to help guide your life. There are certain unknowns that will remain unknown because if you knew it ahead of time you might try to avoid something you should be learning. It’s the Cosmic Cop trying to teach you a lesson that only you should experience, not avoid. OK, stop shivering in your boots! Not all transits happen that way, just the ones you’re avoiding learning what you should learn.
Astrology is extremely useful because it helps you to start planning your life and realizing for every action you take there is a reaction. Before astrology I just floated along day by day counting on my luck. Then there came a time when that wasn’t working and I needed to get some help or understanding NOW!!! So, I started studying astrology and the rest is history.
I hope you can use astrology as it was intended. Just look at those 3 wise men. Astronomers as well as Astrologers. They had information no one else had and used it to discover something wonderful and glorious. Want to discover something wonderful and glorious in your life? Hey, what are you waiting for? The time is now!!!

Trine- The aspect which is 120 degrees. Usually 4 signs apart. An easy and relaxed aspect.
